Delete your Liyaa Note account

Liyaa Note, by the Liyaa Note developer

Option 1: in the app (instant)

Open Liyaa Note and, on My courses, tap the person icon at the top to open Profile & Settings.
Scroll to Account and tap Delete my account.
Type DELETE and confirm.

Option 2: ask us by email

If you no longer have the app, email ahmedanys@gmail.com from the email address you use for Liyaa Note, with the subject “Delete my Liyaa Note account”. We delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

Your account, email and password
Your profile: names, phone number, photo, headline, About and links
Your chat messages, shared files, Memories photos, comments and marks, and Library items you added
Your notes backup, notification settings, mutes and phone notification tokens
Join requests and reports you sent
When deleted in the app: the notebook stored on that phone

What happens to courses you own

Ownership passes to the member who has been in the course longest, so your classmates keep the course, its Library and Memories (except your own posts, which are deleted). A course with nobody else in it is deleted.

What we keep

If the account was suspended for breaking the community rules, we keep its email address so the same person cannot sign up again. Nothing else is kept.
